Give to Hospice of Central Georgia

Volunteer

At Hospice of Central Georgia, volunteers are the "heart of hospice" and a vital resource. Not all volunteers have had a direct experience with hospice, but many have had their lives touched by hospice in one way or another.

Volunteers provide non-medical services to patients and families. These services include providing respite care and friendship, running errands, doing light household chores, reading/letter writing and simply listening.

Hospice volunteers also attend a training class and should commit to a minimum of three (3) hours per week to the patient and family to whom they are assigned.

If you or your group has an interest in volunteering for Hospice of Central Georgia, please follow the link below to complete and submit the Volunteer Profile Form. Our Volunteer Coordinator will contact you with further information.
